Music for Incandescent Events: Hanlan’s Sunset
(no.2, for Gibraltar Point) | June, 2004 (24:00)

No. 2 was created for the site of a decommissioned wading pool filled in with earth and flowers at the edge of Lake Ontario on Hanlan's Island, Toronto. An installation for light sensors and audio by Robert Cruickshank & myself, a small box measured the sky’s changing light at dusk and triggered sound fragments to assemble a unique audio composition with each sunset.
